Peter’s 40-year career has focused primarily on the design of municipal and institutional work, multi-family residential projects, and with custom residential projects. He is also experienced in heritage buildings having completed the LEED Gold, $50 Million Goodes Hall Renovation and Addition at the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University, and the CAHP award winning Fort Henry Discovery Centre, built on a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Peter started his career with The Thom Partnership Architects in Toronto in 1979 and joined The Ventin Group Architects (+VG Architects) in 1993. Peter is Partner-in-Charge of the Toronto office. He has volunteered in the past in several capacities in the profession including on the OAA Council; the Pro-Demnity Board of Directors; Chairman, The Foundation for Architectural Research; Treasurer, The Canadian Association of Heritage Professionals; and currently a Member of the Board of Directors of Heritage Toronto. Peter has also served as Professional Advisor on several Design Competitions and juries, most recently as the Professional Advisor to the City on the St. Lawrence Market Design Competition in Toronto.
